Jewish Ideas Daily Survey: Terms and Conditions

If you participate in the Jewish Ideas Daily survey, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions:

• You may participate in the survey only if you are 18 or older.  Jewish Ideas Daily (“JIDaily”), or any party associated with JIDaily in the conduct of the survey, may require you to furnish evidence of your age or identity.

• You may complete the survey only once.  If JIDaily or any associated third party concludes that you have entered more than once or otherwise acted in bad faith in connection with the survey, you will not be eligible for any gift, prize, or award being offered in connection with the survey.

•  Each of the first 500 respondents to the survey may become eligible to receive a gift card from Amazon.com in the amount of $10.  Each of the second 500 respondents to the survey may be eligible to receive a gift card from Amazon.com in the amount of $5 (either a $10 or a $5 gift card, a “Gift Card;” each person eligible to receive a Gift Card in connection with the survey, an “Eligible Recipient”).

• A survey respondent who is within the first 500 or second 500 respondents will become an Eligible Recipient only if the respondent has provided JIDaily with a valid e-mail address as part of the respondent’s survey answers.

• At the end of the survey period, JIDaily will notify each Eligible Recipient by e-mail of his or her eligibility for a $10 or $5 gift card and ask the Eligible Recipient to clink on a link that will verify the Eligible Recipient’s e-mail address.

• If the Eligible Recipient does not verify this e-mail address within 10 days of receiving the above e-mail from JIDaily, the Eligible Recipient will have forfeited all entitlement to the gift card; and JIDaily will have no obligation to compensate the Eligible Recipient for the loss of this entitlement.

• If the Eligible Recipient does verify his or her e-mail address within 10 days of receiving the above e-mail from JIDaily, then, within 30 days of this verification, JIDaily will send the Eligible Recipient, via e-mail, a link and access code that will enable the Eligible Recipient to receive the Gift Card for which he or she is eligible.

• The link and access code are not transferable or exchangeable for money or money’s worth.

• Each Eligible Recipient shall be solely responsible for any taxes levied on the delivery or receipt of a Gift Card.

• The judgments and conclusions of JIDaily shall be final with respect to all matters related to the Gift Cards and shall not be subject to review or appeal by any survey respondent or any third party.  JIDaily reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the process of distributing the Gift Cards if, in the sole judgment of JIDaily, the process cannot be effected as contemplated.

• By responding to the survey, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless JIDaily, its legal representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any damages suffered or sustained in connection with the distribution of the Gift Cards.

• By responding to the survey, you agree to receive e-mails from JIDaily.

• These terms and conditions and all matters related thereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New York.
